GAGC CHAPTER OF THE YEAR

On Tuesday, March 18 at the Georgia Association for Gifted Children (GAGC) 13th
Annual Convention held in Atlanta AGTLH was recognized by GAGC as Georgia's
"Chapter of the Year."  Tammy Caudell, President and Lane Gresham, Secretary
received the award from GAGC Executive Board President, Vicki Krugman, Athens.
According to the GAGC website, "The award is presented each year to the local
chapter which has made a significant difference to gifted education in their
district to bring about change that results in improvement in gifted services in
that specific district."

The executive board of AGTLH is proud to bring this coveted award back to
Habersham County.  This achievement marks a milestone in gifted advocacy for
our county.  AGTLH sends a million thanks to our members who continue to support
the important work to "shine a bright light on Habersham County's gifted students
thus raising the education bar for all.
